The Lukács season ticket consists of three concerts full of new joys to discover. Above all, two young conductors. After taking up the baton on the first evening, the seasoned maestro Domonkos Héja will then turn it over to the 31-year-old Gábor Hontvári and the 37-year-old Dániel Erdélyi, giving them a chance to helm the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra for the second and third outings on the subscription.

A French evening in the spirit of refinement, colours, moods – and pathos. The Debussy work, L’Après-midi d’un Faune, heralds the birth of impressionism and the two Saint-Saëns compositions, the Cello Concerto in A minor and the hugely popular Organ Symphony, represent romanticism – the latter of which is heavily influenced by Liszt. It is not just the composers who are French: so are the conductor and the soloist.

A G. Horváth László hegedűművész vezetésével működő Anima Musicae Kamarazenekar sokszínű, több évszázad zenéjét bemutató programmal érkezik a Richter-terembe. Elsőként az olasz barokk nagymester, Antonio Vivaldi ragyogó kéthegedűs concertóját játsszák, majd a jelenkori magyar zeneszerzés markáns figurája, Cser Ádám a nagy előd előtt tisztelgő vonószenekari műve csendül fel.

Named after the founder and former leader of the Hungarian State Choir, the predecessor of the National Choir, the Pászti season ticket unsurprisingly offers a rich bounty of vocal music: early music and contemporary pieces, as well as a cappella works and oratorical masterpieces, all courtesy of composers from both Hungary and elsewhere.
