As a pioneer of Hungarian new-wave hip-hop, Kolos Halász, aka Co Lee, became familiar to an increasingly wider audience throughout 2022 and 2023. In 2024, Halász not only proved himself on the main stages of festivals, he also organised one of his very own: the Cirque de Margaret, which found a common path between circus and music, and was packed with breathtaking acrobatic displays.

It is not just the composers who are French: so are the conductor and the soloist.
Zsigmond Szathmáry, the ever free-spirited, daringly experimental and youthful minded composer/organist who has lived in Germany since 1970, celebrated his 85th birthday in 2024.

The academic researcher and dedicated performer of early keyboard music Hedvig Jakab, who teaches as an associate professor at the Faculty of Music of the University of Debrecen, will offer us a sumptuous selection of the treasures of four centuries of organ literature from the early Baroque to the present day, naturally with a taste of Bach’s oeuvre as well, with the Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
