A Dohány utcai Zsinagóga Budapest egyik kiemelt turisztikai látványossága, Európa legnagyobb, a világ második legnagyobb zsinagógája. 1859-ban épült mór stílusban, 3000 fő befogadására alkalmas. Nagysága a korabeli fővárosi zsidóság jelentőségét, magas színvonalú gazdasági és kulturális igényét bizonyítja.

Rumbach Street Synagogue will be open according to the schedule.

Dohany Street Synagogue from 01.05.2026. till 27.05.2026. will remain the following:

Sunday-Thursday 10.00.am-06.00.pm,
Fridays: 10.00.am-04.00.pm.
Entrance and ticket office will be closed one hour prior the end of visitng hours.

We would like to inform our dear visitors to be mindful of their attire when visiting the synagogue!
Short skirts (above the knee), sleeveless tops and shorts (above the knee) are not allowed in the synagogue!

It will be possible to buy an additional garment (cape) if the visitor does not have one, which costs 500 HUF on the spot.
