Montse is thrilled about the weekend she gets to spend with the whole family at her house on the Costa Brava. Her divorce was long ago, her ex has a new partner, and her children are all grown up with lives of their own. No one pays much attention to her. But nothing and no one will put a damper on her excitement. She’s been dreaming of this moment for too long. The weekend will be perfect… even if she has to burn everything to the ground to make it so. A House on Fire directed by Dani de la Orden, one of the great Spanish comedy directors (Barcelona Christmas Night, The Wedding Unplanner, The Test) and starring actors like Enric Auquer and Alberto San Juan, is an engaging family dramedy about the darker side of all families.
