It’s a dark night, the wind whistles and it’s freezing cold. The news reports a wave of cold, snow and rain. There´s no way to leave the house. A woman is bored and upset. As she heats up her coffee, she becomes self-absorbed, looking out the window. Caught up in her thoughts, she begins to draw on the condensation on the window with her index finger. The window changes colour. Among the dark-blue shadows of the night, the silhouette of a girl dancing delicately comes into view. The wind whistles louder and turns into a sweet symphony of wind instruments. A beautiful universe of fish and crabs, surrounded by a forest of anemones and strange plants. In and out, we are seen, and we can play and imagine. The moment holds a mirror, do we have courage to look into it?

A szenegáli Youssou N'Dour nemcsak hazája, de általában az afrikai zene egyik legnagyobb hatású alakja, aki nagy befolyást gyakorolt arra, hogy a nyugati világban ismertté váljanak olyan afrikai stílusok, mint a mbalax és a wolof music. Mi több, előbbit, ezt a szenegáli tánczenét ő maga fejlesztette tökélyre, és rajta keresztül jutott el Peter Gabrielig és Paul Simonig, onnan meg a popzene főáramába.
Az „Ormányos Falka” fagottzenekar április 17-én született, a „Fagottissimo 2006” rendezvény alkalmával. Ekkor adta elő az együttes a háziverseny nyitóakkordjaként Charpentier: Te Deum-ának fagott zenekarra készült átiratát.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
