Balogh Roland – gitár
Szőke Nikoletta és Balogh Roland, a két montreux-i versenygyőztes, Junior Prima díjas előadó koncertje igazi zenei csemegének ígérkezik. Szőke Nikoletta az ország egyik legnépszerűbb jazzénekesnője, Balogh Roland a fiatal jazz generáció egyik legkiemelkedőbb művésze. A hazai koncerttermek és fesztiválok állandó teltházas fellépői, léptek már fel nagy sikerrel saját zenekaraikkal számos európai ország mellett többek között New York-ban és Tokióban is. Niki énekelt együtt Michael Legrandnal, Bobby McFerrinnel, Gregory Hutchinsonnal, Roland pedig olyan nevekkel dolgozott együtt, mint Lee Ritenour és Matthew Garrison.
Mindketten aktívan dolgoznak együtt más műfajok ismert előadóival. A duó formáció számos alkalommal játszott már együtt. Színes műsorukban hallhatóak lesznek Sting-feldolgozások és hagyományos jazz örökzöldek is.

Our offer
The world premiere of László Dubrovay's dance drama Faust, the Damned took place at Müpa Budapest in 2016, as part of the Budapest Spring Festival. This large-scale production inspired by Goethe's masterpiece debuted on the main stage of the National Theatre of Pécs in the 2023/24 season, and will run again in 2024 at Müpa Budapest's Festival Theatre.
This two-part concert will present the finest and most diverse aspects of the Belgian jazz scene. The Brussels Jazz Orchestra, Belgian's leading big band, will be uniting its powers with the superb saxophonist Philip Catherine, outstanding guitarist Bert Joris and the distinctive singer David Linx to wow the audience as they perform a programme compiled especially for the Bridging Europe festival.
At their Müpa Budapest concert, they will play both ballads and more up-tempo songs, a total of twenty-four of their greatest hit, like they have never been heard before: in an acoustic, chamber music arrangement accompanied by two vocalists and a piano, violin, cello and flute.
