One of the pieces is a slow drift that starts from silence and heads towards dissolution: a pulse awakens in stillness, expands, and begins to shape the space around it. A continuous transformation unfolds—it depicts the birth and decay of the body, its vibration alternating between density and transparency. Mind the Body is a two-act contemporary dance performance about the inner workings of the body and mind. One of the pieces is a slow drift that starts from silence and heads towards dissolution: a pulse awakens in stillness, expands, and begins to shape the space around it. A continuous transformation unfolds—it depicts the birth and decay of the body, its vibration alternating between density and transparency. Each gesture carries the memory of creation and disappearance, revealing how existence survives in the act of disappearance.

The second performance explores the inner workings of the mind, revealing the interactions of systems and states that constantly shift and destabilise each other, creating confusion. Encounters on stage reflect internal struggles—impulse and control, stability and doubt. The piece invites viewers into a shared mental space where we can experience a sense of regulation and disintegration, harmony and tension—a space that could exist in anyone’s mind.

The performance will be staged by Gradient Contemporary Ballet Debrecen, consisting of international members, which is a dance company of the Csokonai National Theatre Debrecen. The choreographers, Edit Domoszlai and the Recuerdo número 7 team, namely Enrique López Flores and Javier Ara Sauco, have worked as selected young artists of the Biennale College Danza, among others, and their pieces were presented at the Biennale Dance Festival in Venice.
