Current events

Taking the stage as the temperamental Rosina will be the Russian Aigul Akhmetshina, a tremendous discovery of recent years, joined not only by the young American tenor Jack Swanson as he makes his Met debut as Almaviva, but also by Moldova's Andrey Zhilikhovsky as the manly Figaro and, to our proud delight, our fellow Hungarian Péter Kálmán, who will be taking on Doctor Bartolo.

The broadcast will be sung in the original language, and shown with Hungarian and English subtitles.
