On their latest album, Sploty (2024), which topped the European world music charts, they collaborate with fellow Polish artists BASSalyki, fusing their signature sound with reggae and dub. This approach also long defined their work: they transform a repertoire learned from traditional peasant musicians into entrancing, psychedelic compositions by incorporating electronic and contemporary elements, or blending their music with Hindustani classical music, Galician and Persian melodies, and Jamaican dub. At this joint concert by the two bands, the fusion of Polish peasant music and reggae will take centre stage.
